How the Step Discount System Operates

  • 8th Step (Very Good Driver): Drivers with 5+ consecutive claim-free years receive the highest discount (up to 50% off the official ceiling price).
  • 4th Step (Entry Level): Standard baseline rate applied to first-time car buyers and newly registered vehicles.
  • 0th Step (High Risk): Drivers causing multiple accidents in a single policy term face up to a 200% premium penalty and mandatory driver retraining.
